Dont blink or before you know it it's over

So I have been pacing myself in seeing the things I want to see while I am here in NY. Sure I have seen a lot... Broadway? check. Times Square? Check. Manhattan Temple? check. Boston? check. Chinatown? check (multiple times check). But I still have so much to see and only two more weekends to see them! whats on the list you ask?
  • Statue of Liberty
  • ground zero
  • Brooklyn bridge
  • Washington Square Park
  • Central Park ( Ive seen the edges but I haven't explored)
  • The Guggenheim
  • A concert in the city
  • Flea Market
well that is what I got and very little time to do it! wish me luck!

The Game Changer

well here I am again unsure of what to do... My nanny job here in Mamaroneck NY is unexpectedly ending three months early. I only have three short weeks from today until I fly back home. I was almost to the place where I could start saving seriously for the future things I have planned, but now I am coming back with less than a 1000 dollars saved. With no car, job, or definite place to live in mind you can definitely understand my panic. but things are falling into place... My older sister Heidi lives in Caldwell Id, near Boise, and has offered to let me stay at here house and work for awhile. So that is the plan so far.... now to find a job

BTW is suck at blogging...

Hey friends!
Yes I am still here In New York... I havent been eaten alive by the big apple. Quite the opposite actually I am doing so good. Sure my job has its challenges, but I find joy each day with the funny things that kids do. I work alot, but I am finding more play time as well. I am making so more friends and seeing the sights. I have recently made a trip to Boston, been threatened while riding in a cab (well the driver was being threatened, but same thing), cut my hair the shortest it has ever been, and laughed super hard. I have a blog revamp in progress and I vow yes vow to blog more frequently.... Love you all!

My visit to the Met (Metropolitain Museum of Art)

Here are some of the highlights from my trip into the city this weekend. It was especially awesome to see work by Stieglitz in person. Sure studying him and the processes he used was great but actually seeing his work in such an esteemed place is pretty great. Along with this cold ( and I mean cold) day of art I ended up eating the most delicious cheeseburger of my life, and surprisingly I found it in grand central!

Daily inspiration, January 13, 2012

I wish I had this hair... why does it take so long to grow?!
                                                               My new mantra...
I really wish I could have flawless skin and rocked lipstick more often.
                                                                    SO TRUE

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone I started the new year right here in Mamaroneck NY telling the kidos that they could finally go to bed because it was exactly 12:01. I followed that by heading to bed myself... I am such a party animal. 2012 holds so many possibilities and I am excited to see what happens this year. I am privileged to spend at least half of the year here on the east coast learning and seeing new things.
I plan on starting of this year with a bang by starting a new exercise routine ( which I haven't figured out yet, but I will probably start with daily walks around my beautiful neighborhood.) I also plan on participating in a 30 day photo challenge with my girl Hanna. That is just a start... Lets see where 2012 takes us.
