Gonna party like it's my birthday... cause it is

Yes today I am 24 years of age. Why does that make me weepy? I think it is because of somethings that I haven't yet achieved in my life... aka a family of my own. But I am feeling so good about this next big step I am taking in my life. This move to New York will not only be a job experience but an opportunity for growth. I can wait to see all the things I have always wanted to see, to take advantage of this fresh start and get more healthy and to achieve some serious life goals while having fun doing it. Thanks to all my family and friends for all the support and love they give me. I will miss you in New York! So far we have done manicures, listened to 80's music, and partaken of all you can eat sushi! I dont think I can really do all you can eat sushi... a little to much for me, but it was good anyway! Today I am wearng my party skirt and going to church. Then Hanna is making me a delicious birthday dinner to share with everyone! I am so happy to be here spending my birthday!

I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi all. I am up way past my bed time and my mind wont stop going. I am moving to NEW YORK in less than a month! I got offered a 6 month position as a nanny for three kids in Mamaroneck  New York, which is about 18 miles north of NYC. This all happened so fast. One minute I am talking to a friend about this opportunity and her referring me for the job and the next thing I know I am hired! I am super excited and nervous at the same time. I have never been to New York but I cant wait to see what it has to offer. I am looking forward to a job with a routine and lots of adventure. I am most optimistic about a fresh start and the opportunity to work on many of my life goals. To be able to get health and transform myself into more of the person I want to be... Stay tuned for what is to come because I am sure it will be anything but boring!

Fun with actions

 I just got photoshop and wanted to play a little. I had heard of actions, but never really used them. Here are the results of my fun... are they any good? I took these photos this summer for my Uncle Jon and his family. These are the funniest and cutest kids!

So here is my plan. I am going to follow this book, I really like it. It is written for a normal person. Stage one is walking for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week... totally do able so lets get started!
